Play – The brains favourite way to learn FILLING
Limited Capacity filling up

For many many years Early Childhood Research has proven that play is the most effective way for children to learn.

Play in Early Childhood education is a technical term. It does not mean adults sitting and chatting while children do anything they like. Nor does it mean doing worksheets and adult centered activities in a playful way.

This workshop will explore what play means in an early childhood setting, how to plan for it, asses it and ensure it happens for children.

We will also talk about what is the teachers role in ensuring rich, complex play.
Play is not only is it the easiest way for children to learn but it also helps children develop possitives dispositions of learning which means children will want to be life long learners.
