Sensory Processing in the Early Years LIMITED
Limited Capacity seats available

Identification of sensory processing dysfunction in children’s everyday behavior and how to cope with that situation, specifically in learning context. Dysfunction in this area will affect children’s learning ability in their stages of learning. There will be examples of activities to stimulate sensory processing dysfunction, starting from early years until Primary level children, that educators and parents could apply at school or home with their students or children. The purpose of the activities is to optmize children’s sensory processing in order to learn and behave appropriately.
Note:
The session will be presented in Bahasa Indonesia.

Aranya Nadia Darmawan has been working as a teacher for 7 years. She has taught early years up to upper Primary level students. Her experience working with children encourages her to create student’s need-based methods and strategies in learning.

School Counselor/Psychologist, Sekolah Cikal Serpong
Ciptanti Parsaulina got her Masters Degree from University of Indonesia. She practices as a child psychologist and works with special needs children. Besides working as a psychologist, currently she is working as a school counselor in Sekolah Cikal Serpong. She is very concern in special needs children since one of her two children is a special need child, and needs specific treatment in sensory processing dysfunction.
